Refund Policy

1. Cancel anytime
JouBook is a subscription service with no long-term commitment. You can cancel your subscription at any time, directly from your account settings, in just a few clicks. No justification is required.
2. Effect of cancellation
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access to the service until that date. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
3. Free trial
If you cancel during the free trial period, you will not be charged anything.
4. Refunds
Subscriptions are billed in advance for the chosen period, and amounts already paid are generally non-refundable on a pro-rata basis. However, a refund may be granted in the following cases:
- A charge made in error after a confirmed cancellation
- A major and prolonged service outage caused by us
- A request made within 14 days of the first payment (right of withdrawal)
5. Annual subscription
For annual subscriptions, a pro-rata refund of the unused months may be granted upon a justified request, within 30 days of the renewal date.
6. How to request a refund
Send an email to billing@joubook.com with your account email and the reason for the request. We process refund requests within 5 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
