Our commitment
JouBook is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance status
JouBook aims to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone. The platform is also designed to be compatible with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act, as well as the EU Web Accessibility Directive.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks across the application
- Keyboard navigation support for all interactive elements
- Sufficient color contrast in both light and dark themes
- Alternative text for meaningful images
- Responsive design that supports text resizing up to 200%
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the platform may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively working to identify and address these issues. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please let us know — we treat reports as a priority.
